Accessibility statement
data2biology Sp. z o.o. works to make the data2biology.com website usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. We aim to meet the WCAG 2.1 Level AA standard.
- Website published: 2026-09-03
- Statement prepared: 2026-09-03
- Last reviewed: 2026-09-03
1. Conformance status
The website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA, due to the limitations listed in section 3.
This statement is based on a self-assessment carried out by the data2biology team. The review covered every page of the public part of the site and examined: heading structure, alternative text for images, form field labels, contrast of text and interface elements, keyboard operation, and correctness of the language declaration.
2. Accessibility features
- Every page has a “Skip to content” link, visible after pressing Tab, which lets you bypass the navigation.
- The site can be operated entirely from the keyboard; the focused element is clearly outlined.
- Each page has a single main heading and an ordered heading structure.
- All images carrying information have alternative text; decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers.
- Text and interface contrast meets Level AA requirements (at least 4.5:1 for text and 3:1 for interface components).
- Zoom is not blocked — the page can be scaled to at least 200% without loss of content.
- The layout adapts to small screens and to windows with unusual proportions.
- The site contains no auto-playing audio and no flashing content.
- The page language is declared and changes with the selected language version.
3. Non-accessible content
Limitations we are aware of:
- Charts in the “Worked example” section are raster images. They have alternative text describing the type of chart, but do not convey every numeric value. The key figures are, however, given in the page text and in the table beside the charts.
- Course descriptions come from a content editor and may contain formatting that hinders screen reader use, for example lists built by hand rather than with list markup. We correct these gradually.
- The administration panel is available to staff only and has not been fully assessed for accessibility.
- Downloadable files (the VAT exemption form, training materials) may not meet accessibility requirements. On request we will provide their content in another form — just get in touch.
4. Feedback and contact details
Digital accessibility of this website is the responsibility of Michał Szcześniak. Accessibility feedback, requests for information in an alternative format and requests to make content accessible can be sent to:
- e-mail: office@data2biology.com
- phone: +48 692 816 069
- address: data2biology Sp. z o.o., ul. Rubież 46, 61-612 Poznań, Poland
A report should include the contact details of the person reporting, the page or element concerned and, where relevant, the preferred alternative format. We respond within 7 days. If we cannot make the content accessible in that time, we will say so and give a new deadline, no longer than two months from the date of the report.
If our response is unsatisfactory, a complaint may be lodged under general rules, and you may also contact the Polish Commissioner for Human Rights.
5. Physical accessibility
Our office is located in the Poznań Science and Technology Park, ul. Rubież 46, 61-612 Poznań. Please contact us by phone or e-mail before visiting — we will arrange a convenient way to meet and help you find the place. Our training is delivered mainly online, and on-site sessions are adapted to participants’ needs.
6. How this statement was prepared
This statement is based on self-assessment rather than an external audit. We calculated contrast ratios for all key colour combinations, reviewed the code for alternative text, form labels and heading structure, and tested keyboard operation. We update the statement whenever the site changes substantially, and at least once a year.
